I remember Friday nights, Richard and Jan would come into The Royal Oak for a drink and I would be upstairs but once I heard Jan's fantastic laugh through the ceiling I knew it was time to go down to work and meet up with my friends. We carried on with our Friday meet ups after we left the pub and had lots of wine, food and of course laughter over many years. Jan was a lovely lady a fabulous friend and a great support when I suffered my loss. She was so strong and fought so hard I hope she is now at peace.
